This one size, 5 page pattern for an Elephant Tea Cosy is worked here in the colourful, ethnic inspired colours of Patons Fab Double Knitting. It can also be made from other double knitting oddments if tension is checked.
The cosy is a fun, quick knit.
It is named after Eleanora, a baby elephant character in a book my mother delighted in reading to my children when they were young. A couple of years ago, I managed to find a copy of the book in a second hand bookstore and this story came to mind when I was thinking of making an Indian Elephant Design Tea Cosy, so Eleanora it became.
