This lightweight, matching scarves digital pattern, Me and Mini Me, has a simple, but striking lace design that is deceptively easy to make yet stylish to wear. The cowls lift the simplest of outfits and accommodate many differing styles of wear.
Knitted in Patons Smoothie DK, the yarn has a broad palette of colours and washes and wears well. Pulled threads are often a casualty of children's garments, but these can generally be coaxed back and even if a small child stretches the scarf, it still wears well as a longer length.
For a different feel, the scarves can be knitted with any other quality DK yarn of the same gauge.
The set can be completed in 3 x 100g balls and is a quick, simple make. The child shown in the photos is aged two. The scarves can be lengthened or shortened by adjusting the row count.
